Hi, my name is Savannah!

I’m a classically trained bassoonist and orchestra conductor.  Please send me an email to schedule a time for a free-trial lesson!

  • If your child is interested in school band or orchestra, I can offer assistance in helping them choose the instrument that is right for them (as well as one that is financially feasible for your family).  Being involved in music at school is such a wonderful opportunity, but the kids who stick with it are those that truly love their instrument – I’m here to help!

  • I began playing bassoon when I was fourteen and have had the opportunity to play with many orchestras across the US. This is the instrument that helped me fall in love with classical music. I have experience teaching students of all ages.

  • A great option for all ages, my lesson approach is tailor-made to fit each student's needs and goals.  I have experience with young kids, as well as adults who are starting lessons for the first time.

  • Lessons that teach the basics of music theory (melody, harmony, rhythm) in a fun way for kids or for those who would like a strong musical foundation before deciding on an instrument. Great for ages 3-10!

  • I am a professional conductor and have had the pleasure of working with well renowned teachers across the country. I'm an alumna of the Monteux School, and have a master's degree in conducting. Conducting is my favorite thing to teach - I welcome students of all ages and abilities.

  • I have a degree in Music History and can provide assistance to people studying for classes or music lovers who would like a stronger background in music history to enrich thier concert experiences.

  •  I love teaching music theory to all ages! Whether you are a high school student in AP Music Theory, a college student, or a total beginner, let’s chat and find a way to get you to the next level.  I am a patient ear-training teacher (especially as someone who has had to work hard to develop my own ear) I can help you find tips and tricks that work for you!
